Christina Harrison
Christina is a singer/songwriter from Glasgow, Scotland and has sung before live
audiences most of her life. She began in her mother's small hotel on the
outskirts of England's Lake District and by the age of fourteen she was singing
in dance halls, restaurants and in local theatres. She received classical voice
training and then became one of the few solo sopranos for the English travelling
choir, 'The Centralaires', which appeared on B.B.C. Television. She also
formed her own folk band, 'The Mustard Seed', which performed throughout
Britain.
Audiences now enjoy her voice and acoustic guitar. Her repertoire is beautifully
versatile featuring original, contemporary and traditional folk songs from Ireland,
Scotland and America. Christina is on radio internationally and currently performs
at concerts and festivals throughout the U.S.A., Canada and Europe.
